I agree with this article!! Every child should learn Self-Rescue Infant Swimming Resource lessons starting at 6 months to 6 years. It's never to late to learn to swim. In Central Florida our YMCA's have a program called Safe Start which is the Infant Swimming Resource program. Check out www.infantswim.com or www.safestartusa.org to find an instructor or YMCA near you! Always have a pool fence, door locks and alarms, a phone by the pool and know CPR.

Great Summary! Now we need to ensure that people understand that cortisol and the other glucocorticoids need to be "detoxed" from their systems. This is necessary to reactivate the immune system. And, there is one more response that doesn't get enough attention - the Freeze reaction. This is the most common reaction in the workplace. The freeze reaction is the 3rd option when you can't overcome the threat (fight)(resistance), can't evade or outrun the threat (flight)(attrition), so you (freeze)(duck below the radar) and hope the threat doesn't consume you.
Water runs much deeper, and trauma has been seeped into our RNA and DNA, that is what Ekhart Tolle says about our Pain Body. It has remote memory of our past pain and grievance. Our job of training the brain is to let go of past grievance and find the higher purpose of love and letting go.

Lett let go means that we can no longer use our past as an execuse to nubm ourselves and drug ourselves and we have to GROW UP. Removing trauma moves to a realm of transformation, forgiveness moves us further into the realm of Transcendence, and this is what this article is all about.

We are no longer the victim, but claim a piece of heaven on earth in spite of the circustance and genocide.....

Love the article. Dianne is an exellent writer!
