About

A Letter from the Publisher

Welcome to Brain World, a magazine dedicated to the brain.

We believe that neuroscience is the next great scientific frontier, and that advances in understanding the nature of the brain, consciousness, behavior and health will transform human life in the next century.
__ The issue you hold in your hands is a milestone for us. It is our first issue to be distributed at newsstands and bookstores all over the world. We’re very excited to be able to reach such a wide audience, including you.
__ Brain World explores cutting-edge science and how its findings can affect human health, culture, education, global issues and more. It’s written for the general reader—you don’t have to be a neuroscientist to appreciate our articles—but we aren’t afraid to go in depth into the issues and topics that matter to us.
__ Perhaps that’s why Brain World is popular among educators, political and business leaders, health professionals and individuals everywhere who are interested in the daily revelations granted by neuroscience and the ways in which they can be applied to our lives and the world in which we live.
