The Brain World Alzheimer’s Challenge

BlogStories

DID YOU KNOW the month of November is Alzheimer’s awareness month?

Currently 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. In reaction to this epidemic, according to Brookdale Senior Living, “National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month is a time for organizations, governments, and individuals to pledge or renew their commitments to research that is improving treatments for Alzheimer’s disease.”

Brain World Magazine invites you to take a part in honoring individuals affected by the disease, be they family members, caregivers, or patients. Share story(s) of your own personal experiences with BWM and we will take our part in this social response by publishing selected stories on our BrainWorld blog. We look for stories full of inspiring and honest experiences.

THE CHALLENGE: In a 200-300 word essay, share your own familiarity with Alzheimer’s disease with our readers and contributors. Essays should be completed by November 21st and will be publicized on our blog on November 26th. Please make sure to send your essays as word documents to bw************@gm***.com. Also, please make sure your essays are double-spaced and written in 12 point font.

We look forward to hearing from you.
